Vanishing Deductible and Total Loss Deductible Waiver

Your Auto Insurance policy has a deductible. That means if you make a claim, you are responsible for the first $250, $500, or whatever level deductible you choice when signing up for your policy.

What are Deductibles?

When you sign up for insurance coverage, you have choices to make for collision and comprehensive coverage and your deductible. Obviously, collision covers the time your car runs into something or someone, or when someone else runs into your car. Comprehensive coverage covers the other parts of the accident, damage and injury to other people and property as a result of the accident.

A full-coverage policy includes both collision and comprehensive coverage.

A deductible is out-of-pocket money you will be responsible to pay in the event of a claim for a fender-bender or a wholesale crash that leaves your car totaled, or leaves you or others injured. A lower deductible means a policyholder has a smaller out-of-pocket payment for a repair claim, but higher monthly premiums. A higher deductible means lower monthly payments and a higher payment when an accident happens.

It sounds like a choice between bad and worse. Not so. Now that you have Allied as an option!

Vanishing Deductible

The Vanishing Deductible reduces the cost of a full-coverage policy by $100 per year for every year a driver goes without an accident or claim. Additionally, if a claim is not filed within the first 30 days of the policy being activated, the deductible will automatically drop by $100. That means if you elected a $500 deductible, your deductible will be reduced by $100 a year up to $500 off the deductible you would be charged for the same coverage with another insurance carrier. If you have no accidents within the first 30 days of signing up for your Allied policy and you go another four years without any claims, you will not be charged a deductible if you have an accident and need to make a claim.

Best yet, once you achieve the $0 deductible, the cost of your auto insurance cost won’t increase as a result of the lower deductible!

Total Loss Deductible Waiver

This unique benefit has the potential to save a policyholder hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The Total Loss Deductible Waiver can save a policyholder hundreds and even thousands of dollars. When this unique benefit is added to your policy, the insurance company will waive the  entire deductible, regardless of the amount, in the event your vehicle is considered a total loss as the result of a covered loss.
